Nicholas "Nick" Burkhardt is a Grimm and police detective for the Portland Police Department. Growing up, nobody told him about the Grimm heritage and the Wesen that surrounded him. He learned about all this from his own experiences since 2011, when his Aunt Marie came to tell him everything but then died. This made him unique among Grimms plus he interacts more in a social way when dealing with Wesen and tries to solve all crime cases with being a cop first.
